I knew about this long ago from my mother, but I couldn’t remember whether it gets crispy or not — but it does!

Microwave it! Just cook it long enough and it does indeed get crispy. And no pan to scrub! Just a regular plate to put in the dishwasher. This is much easier than the idea in my previous post (Easier Way to Cook Bacon & Sausage).

Put paper towels under the bacon to absorb some grease, and put some on top to prevent splatter.

Caution: The plate gets very hot.
