Easier Way to Cook Bacon & Sausage

Do you love bacon and sausage, but hate the mess and time involved in frying it? Good news…. You can cook it in the oven instead!

    1. Preheat oven to 425.
    2. Grease a baking pan. (You wouldn’t think you would need to with bacon, but it will stick if you don’t.)
    3. Lay out the bacon on the pan (for sausage, break it up and spread it out in a thin layer; patties should work too).
    4. Cook at 425 for 15 minutes.

This way, you can cook more bacon at one time, avoid the mess of frying, and save time: You can just stick it in the oven and do something else instead of having to stand there at the frying pan. It gets crispy and browned, and it tastes just as good — maybe even a little better! I learned this tip months ago but had forgotten to post it here. (I think this method should work for ground beef too, but I haven’t tried it yet.) [Editor's Update: I tried it! Learn more.]

I cook bacon & sausage in the oven as well. I learned the trick while working in a restaurant. I do not grease my pans, i use parchment paper. Love your sight. In Christ Andrea
