One of my favorite crock pot recipes is Gypsy Stew (found at Fly Lady’s “More Recipes for the Slow Cooker and Dutch Oven”, about 2/3 of the way down the page) — it is spicy and unusual. Please note: I think there is a typo in this recipe; it calls for 1/2 quart cocktail sherry, but I tried it and that is way too much. I found that 1/2 cup seems correct.
