These grits are out of this world!

Creamy Grits

Cook grits the usual way, but substitute milk for half the water (using a 4-to-1 ratio of liquid to grits).
Cook until thickened.
Then add whipping cream and butter (for 1 cup grits, use about 1 cup of whipping cream and 1 stick of butter).
Simmer & stir 5 more minutes.

If you don’t have quite enough milk, whipping cream, or butter, don’t worry too much; any amount adds great flavor to the grits!
